      <image:title>About - Hi, I'm Sonia ♥</image:title>
<image:caption>Nice to meet you! I am so happy to share a little bit about myself with you. I am Salvadoran and I am fluent in English and Spanish. I was born and raised in Southern California, and I am currently living in the Bay Area. I have been providing doula support for over seven years and I am honored to support birthing parents during their pregnancy, birth, and postpartum period. I believe the perinatal period is a sacred and transformative time, and that everyone deserves to have informed quality care. In addition to being a doula, I am a midwifery student completing my didactic studies through Midwives College of Utah’s program, and a midwife apprentice completing my clinical hours with local Bay Area community midwives. When I am not supporting families, I am spending time with my significant other, journaling, listening to music, or spending time outdoors. *Hablo Español!*</image:caption>
